"Rice used to be known as Seoul Korean restaurant, however on June of 2006, the restaurant was closed. It received a face lift and reopened as Rice Restaurant and Lounge. Owned by our own Mama Kay well known in the Korean community, it is a business serving the greater Tampa/St Pete area and you with some of the best tasting, authentic Korean food available."

Full bar. Serving lunch and dinner daily. One of Creative Loafing's Top 50 Restaurants of 2009.

"There are several fine Korean restaurants in Tampa, but Rice offers a little extra on the formula. There's the usual astounding array of powerful pickles and condiments -- including excellent fresh kimchi -- served with dishes like fiery tripe stew. Rice is also the only spot in town for tableside BBQ."
