Open since 1948, Bob Heilman’s Beachcomber Restaurant has a breathtaking view of Clearwater Beach. Patrons find comfort in the old-fashioned, traditional American menu and the uniquely decorated dining rooms featuring model sailboats, a live piano bar and a central fireplace surrounded by booths. For dinner, choose from appetizers such as fried onion rings or clams casino with three peppers in garlicky butter. The Back-To-The-Farm Chicken is a local favorite (and a Heilman family recipe since 1910). Other excellent choices are the veal piccata, sautéed chicken livers with mushrooms and the Beachcomber Seafood Platter. Full bar. Serving lunch and dinner daily.
