Owner/chef Tom Douglas, who with wife Jackie Cross owns several other popular Seattle restaurants, keeps locals and tourists alike flocking to Dahlia Lounge with a menu that is part Northwest haute cuisine, part comfort food. Tom Hanks ate here in the hit movie Sleepless in Seattle, and though Dahlia has moved since the filming, it continues to win awards (much like Hanks). Here, international influences, dramatic presentations, superb seasonal ingredients and creative accompaniments define Northwest fare. Begin with the likes of curried vegetable samosas or shrimp-scallion pot stickers. Dungeness crab cakes and rotisserie-roasted Peking duck are recommended entrées. And such desserts! How about made-to-order doughnuts? Full bar. Serving lunch Mon–Fri, dinner nightly. Sat–Sun brunch 9 am-2 pm.
