The name says it all. I Love Sushi has long been one of the Seattle’s favorites spots, proving that Seattlelites do indeed love their sushi. Founded by Yoshi Yokoyama in 1986 in suburban Bellevue, the scene at each of the three area locations is bright and busy, marked by upscale, clean surroundings and friendly, efficient service. From the menu, starters include various sashimi (tuna, salmon, yellow tail, albacore tuna and white fish), roasted garlic calamari, ginger shrimp and seafood spring rolls. The star at I Love Sushi is, of course, sushi. Try the Spider Roll (crab with avocado, cucumber, mayonnaise, rice and flying fish roe) and the I Love Roll (broiled eel, shrimp, avocado, cucumber and flying fish roe). There are also a variety of tofu dishes, including Kani Tofu (steamed tofu topped with crab and seaweed in mushroom sauce) or deep-fried tofu sautéed with green beans, bean sprouts and spinach. Full bar. Bellevue location serving lunch Mon–Sat, dinner nightly. Lake Union serving lunch Mon–Fri, dinner nightly. Lake Bellevue serving lunch Sun–Fri, dinner nightly.
