Family-owned Husky Deli in West Seattle has been a neighborhood institution for more than 70 years. The store is a delicatessen, candy store, ice cream shop, gourmet/specialty foods grocery and catering business all in one. Kids of all ages enjoy the quaint and friendly atmosphere here – flags and airline posters from around the globe decorate the walls. At the grocery, find an extensive selection of imported and domestic chocolates and candies, sauces, condiments, cookies, meats and breads. The sandwich counter offers a handful of specialties such as panini, albacore tuna and chicken cashew sandwiches. Some 40 flavors of hand-packed Husky Deli ice cream – Oreo, Swiss chocolate-orange and double chocolate for example – are made on the premises.
