A staple in San Diego's historic Old Town for more than a quarter-century, Old Town Mexican Café consistently packs in both locals and tourists alike thanks to its festive, family-friendly atmosphere, lively bar, and extensive menu of well-prepared, traditional Mexican fare. Mariachis stroll between tables loaded down with substantial portions of house-specialty carnitas, Mexican-style pork ribs and old standbys such as tacos, enchiladas and fajitas. A few American morning standards supplement the otherwise-authentic border breakfast menu of huevos rancheros and Spanish omelets. Full bar.
