Chateau Orleans has been bringing a bit of New Orleans-style revelry and a full menu of traditional Cajun food to San Diego's Pacific Beach since the early 1980s. Starters include alligator bites, Cajun popcorn (fried crawfish tails), catfish nuggets, crab cakes, and eggplant fries. Cajun staples include crawfish bisque, jambalaya, red beans and rice, and gumbo. Fried catfish and shrimp, pork chops, bacon-wrapped scallops, soft-shell crab and steak are other main course options.
