Featuring a tall, neon sign and a building littered with other neon designs, Pico de Gallo tells passersby where the party is. This boisterous, fun-loving restaurant is known for live music and plenty of drinks to go around. Mariachi Internaciónal, regarded as one of the best mariachi bands in the area, plays every night beginning at 6 pm. Even without the music, the place is still busy during lunch. Diners come for the cabrito – tender young goat – reputed as the best in San Antonio. Other favorites include fajitas and the crunchy chalupas that are overflowing with toppings. Full bar. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Late-night Fri–Sat.
