The variety of elegant rooms provides a range of differing dining experiences at L'Etoile in Alamo Heights, but all patrons will receive the same excellent service and deliciously authentic French cuisine. The restaurant's brazen credo is "the time of your life," and chef/owner Thierry Burkle rarely disappoints with his progressive French fare that emphasizes fresh fish, seafood and produce. Offerings change daily, but notable starters may include baked Brie and goat cheese wrapped in pastry, or foie gras with apple chutney. The menu has featured entrées such as sea scallops with mushroom risotto and mahi mahi served with jicama and crab relish. Full bar. Serving lunch Mon–Sat, dinner nightly.
