India Palace may first appear to be your typical Indian restaurant in Middle America – it's located in a strip mall, with a large, glowing red sign over the parking lot – but looks ultimately deceive. Several interesting variations make India Palace an exceptional dining experience. The brothers who own the restaurant care about creating a memorable experience for all customers and reward repeat customers by seating them at special tables. Some customers have been coming weekly since the restaurant's first location opened in 1992. In addition to the menu, the buffet is available at both lunch and dinner. Dishes cover the spectrum of spiciness and include chicken tikka masala, spicy lamb vindaloo and a tandoori mixed grill. All pair well with plenty of naan, the Indian bread staple. For dessert, try the rice pudding or house-made pistachio ice cream. Reservations suggested for parties of five or more. Beer and wine available. Serving lunch and dinner daily. Voted Best Indian Restaurant in the 2008 Current readers poll.
