With a handful of locations throughout the state, Scott's Seafood Grill & Bar has been a California tradition since the first one opened in San Francisco in 1976. Both the Arden and Folsom spots boast Scott's signature upscale-casual dining atmosphere and marquee bar, known among locals to serve a great post-work martini. Entrées from the ocean are varied in substance, style and sea – from Dungeness crab and asparagus ravioli to pan-seared Scottish salmon to blackened Pacific snapper – but the macadamia-crusted Alaskan halibut proves a winner every time. Steak, chicken and several vegan dishes are also available for Scott's land-lubbing patrons. Dessert features a tempting list of cobblers, cakes and crisps. The Wine Spectator Award-winning wine menu includes some of the best varietals California has to offer. Voted Best Seafood in the Sacramento Magazine and Sacramento News & Review readers polls in 2007. Reservations suggested. Full bar. Serving lunch Mon–Sat, dinner nightly.
