Invoking the charm of a quintessential town patisserie, Ettore's European Bakery & Restaurant remains a safe haven for Sactown's confessed-sweet tooth population. Ettore's is best known for its daily selection of decadent pastries, multi-tiered wedding cakes and succulent strudels. Bear claws, Napoleons and tiramisu are all baked fresh daily, as evidenced by the heavenly smell permeating the premises. The order-at-the-counter restaurant boasts a seasonal café list of fresh salads, panini, soups and bistro-style entrée specials, and they serve one of the best burgers in town – a thick patty, melted Swiss and sautéed mushrooms served between a fresh house-made cheddar scallion bun. Sunday brunch (9 am–2 pm) is also quite popular among the local faction. Beer and wine available. Serving breakfast and lunch daily, dinner Mon–Sat.
