Renowned chef Biba Caggiano has been helping place Sacramento on the national culinary map since her authentic Italian eatery opened in 1986. When not starring on her internationally syndicated television show, this hard-working mother and grandmother – a Bologna, Italy, native – keeps herself busy by personally altering the menu with the season, signing copies of her best-selling cookbooks and even overseeing the restaurant's finances. Hand-made pastas, veal shank, grilled lamb skewers and various seafood specialties have guests wondering if they're not in a larger city, or in Italy itself.
