Conesus Inn is the place to go "For the Prime of Your Life," as the restaurant advertises, where you get a view of scenic Conesus Lake from both the patio and the dining room. For more than 40 years, this homey roadhouse has exemplified what a family-owned steak and seafood house does best –provide consistently good meals in a friendly environment. The slow-roasted prime rib is the specialty of the house, but there are plenty of cuts to suit other tastes, including a classic Delmonico in two sizes and a huge porterhouse. Besides steaks, Conesus prepares delicious chicken Wellington, roast rack of lamb and Alaskan king crab. Beer and wine available. Closed during the winter, but otherwise serving dinner Tue–Sun. Closed Mon.
