Bangkok natives Junsuree Hanson and Joe Mengkheo opened Junsuree Thai House upon their arrival in Fort Worth in 2000 and quickly established their restaurant as one of the city's top Thai eateries. They take pride in growing fresh vegetables and herbs themselves, and Junsuree is known for its well-prepared, spicy cuisine and an abundance of vegetarian options. Most popular is the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet Monday through Friday. Egg rolls, salads and soups are rounded out with the ever-popular pad thai and spicy meat options such as the very hot "Angry dishes." From the dinner menu, starters include fried tofu, fried bananas or tod mon (fried fish patties with red curry sauce). Featured entrées include various stir-fries, curries, fried rice dishes, shrimp clay pot and tilapia with a lime-garlic sauce. All dishes can be adapted to a variety of heat levels, from mild to extra spicy. Drinks include hot jasmine tea or chilled coconut juice with actual coconut meat. Desserts include sticky rice with Thai custard, and mango, tapioca pearl or purple rice pudding in coconut milk. No alcohol available. BYOB. Serving lunch buffet Mon–Fri, dinner Mon–Sat. Closed Sun.
