There's so much to admire at Fins Restaurant in downtown's Two Progress Plaza building. Local foodies flock to North Raleigh to partake of this critically acclaimed, seafood-intensive, Asian and Pacific Rim cuisine – the expert cooking of chef/proprietor William D'Auvray, whose influences stem from a childhood in the Philippines, a relocation to Southern California and a stint at The Ritz-Carlton in Washington, D.C. The constantly changing menu has included crispy Thai snapper, peekytoe crab soufflé and citrus-grilled squid. Lamb, duck and pork loin are among the regular non-seafood choices. Full bar. Serving lunch Mon–Fri, dinner Mon–Sat. Closed Sun.
