As with many Pearl District restaurants, much-lauded and family-owned Andina is located upstairs in a renovated warehouse featuring wooden beams, theatrical lighting and original Peruvian artwork. Patrons love the upscale tapas and entrées that are featured on the menu, created by a native Peruvian chef and consisting of a mix of pre-colonial and contemporary ingredients. Start with a Spanish-style potato frittata, fried seafood won tons or even a grilled octopus kabob. Entrées include lamb shank simmered in cilantro and black beer, and a vegetarian stew of squash, Andean grains and cheese. Live music at Bar Mestizo. Full bar. Serving lunch Mon–Sat, dinner nightly.
