Hip, exotically decorated Kaya, from the award-winning big Burrito family of Pittsburgh restaurants (Casbah, Mad Mex, Soba), features one of the area's most inventive bars as well as an ever-changing, innovative Caribbean menu. Brick, steel, textiles and dark wood set the scene in the dining room, where diners can make a meal of several small plates, called tropas, or concentrate on the entrées, known as entradas. Small plates can include island delicacies, sweet potato fries or black bean quesadillas. At lunch, sandwich options abound including a delectable roast pork torta or an avocado and fried egg sandwich.
