Offbeat and off the beaten path, White Wolf Cafe provides a rather charming break from dime-a-dozen tourist spots. This is precisely what husband-and-wife founders Michael and Anne Marie Hennessey aimed for when they established their unassuming gem – named for their snow-colored German shepherd – in Orlando's bohemian district in 1991. Today they serve a loyal following that adores the eclectic menu of funky, gourmet fare. From brown sugar-and-pear salmon to a classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich with banana slices, dishes are as fun as they are interesting. Really, any place that serves ice cream floats and fine wine under one roof must be a winner. Beer and wine available. Serving lunch and dinner Mon–Sat. Closed Sun.
