Award-winning chef and co-owner Debra Paquette is considered one of Nashville's most creative and consistent in the kitchen, and her Restaurant Zola has proven worthy of her many skills. Co-owned by husband/wine director Ernie Paquette, the intimate hideaway seems worlds away from nearby, busy West End Avenue. The cozy collection of dining rooms feels more like a home than a business establishment, and the menu is light-hearted in its fusion of Mediterranean and Old South. A hint of Spanish and a dash of Greek peek into signature dishes such as the fried kasseri cheese and the paella, so dining here is a world tour of fun and flavor. The desserts are among the city's best. Full bar. Serving dinner Mon–Sat. Closed Sun.
