Nashville's best burritos arrive predictably fat, filling and easy on the wallet at Baja Burrito in the increasingly trendy Berry Hill neighborhood a few miles south of downtown. But beyond the star attractions, perhaps the best dish to load on your tray here is the fish tacos: fried fish and fixings (cabbage, creamy white sauce, onions, cilantro and roasted tomato salsa) stuffed and wrapped in a soft corn tortilla. They're messy as all get-out, but isn't that to be expected from a burrito joint? Word to the wise: Know what you're going to order before you hit the front of the assembly line. Time waits for no one, as Mick Jagger once sang, and it won't wait for you here. Beer available. Serving lunch and dinner Mon–Sat. Closed Sun.
