The Bartolotta family, the brains behind Lake Park Bistro, Mr B's and Bacchus, operates this high-end Italian restaurant, where you're invited to take in the tasteful yet rustic décor: cream city-brick walls, family photos, wood floors and lace curtains. Plunge into the fine wine list, and let yourself be pampered by the handsome servers. It's tough to beat the calamari starter, but it sure gets a run for its money from the paper-thin carpaccio served with capers, arugula and lemon vinaigrette. Because the kitchen uses such fresh ingredients, salads are a real treat here: Silky roasted peppers combined with fresh mozzarella. Tangy Gorgonzola, sweet onions and succulent tomatoes. Entrées may include roast salmon with black olive tapenade or grilled pork chop with Marsala wine sauce. Not to mention pappardelle with duck ragout. And for dessert, may we suggest the panna cotta? Or perhaps you'd prefer the tiramisu?
