Le Relais, which translates as "the relay," is widely acclaimed as one of Louisville's finest restaurants in any category, noted for meticulous preparation, artistic presentation and world-class service. In December 2008, the format changed to a more casual bistro with an emphasis on bistro-style comfort foods. Nestled within the historic terminal at Bowman Field, where Charles Lindbergh landed the Spirit of St. Louis in 1927, it resonates with romantic atmosphere. The upscale-casual dining room is accentuated by 1940s art deco-style finishes and white linen-covered tables, while the outdoor deck offers a more relaxed atmosphere. Reservations suggested.
