With Stonewood Grill & Tavern, co-founder and CEO Doug Sullivan is again displaying the magic touch that he showed with casual-upscale chain Outback Steakhouse. Launched in 1999 and with two Jacksonville locations, Ormond Beach, Fla.-based Stonewood Grill emphasizes oak-grilled meats and seafood along with comfort foods such as pot roast and chicken potpie. Starters include oak-grilled shrimp and shrimp quesadillas, crab cakes and bruschetta. Burgers, steaks, chops and a number of fish varieties also benefit from the oak grilling.
