This time it's personal. At the Heights' Glass Wall, co-owner/chef Lance Fegen, previously of Zulu and Treviso, has simplified things with this, his first solo undertaking. The smaller venue and narrower focus have paid dividends for both diners and the chef himself. He testifies, "It's every chef's dream to cook for a limited number of people every evening, " The dining room reflects the coastal theme, celebrating Fegen's former career as a surfer, with muted blue and yellows, wall-sized windows, and – yes! – a glass wall between the bar and the dining room. The menu changes semi-frequently, and seafood offerings reflect what is freshest, but past items have included salmon tartare and smoked whole trout with paprika butter. Landlubbers can opt for the herb grilled flat iron steak or goat cheese stuffed chicken with asparagus and plum chutney. Full bar. Serving dinner Tue–Sat. Closed Sun–Mon.
