When founder David Rotman opened Cafe Aspen more than 17 years ago, he knew little about food but plenty about customer service. His service savvy, coupled with his talented kitchen staff's ability to turn out fantastic American contemporary cuisine with a Mediterranean influence, has propelled this upscale but casual eatery to the top of local diners' lists. This Fort Worth fixture aims to please even the pickiest patrons, with the kitchen gladly accommodating personal tastes. At the tranquil bar in the back, low music and a full, ever-changing menu provide a haven for locals seeking a romantic evening. The year-round outdoor courtyard also provides a perfect setting to enjoy a leisurely meal. Chicken-fried lobster fingers and bourbon buttermilk fudge cake are two examples of the Cafe Aspen classics. Full bar. Serving lunch Mon–Fri, dinner Mon–Sat. Closed Sun.
