Crave's restaurant and lounge are helping to turn the suburb of Dearborn into one of the hippest dining hot spots in the Detroit area. The restaurant is divided into three chic spaces, each with an ambiance of its own. The pristine main dining room displays white linen-covered tables, white chairs and white, sheer curtains draping the walls. The patio, heated in the winter months, is enclosed by dark mahogany panels and a gauze canopy. And benches and coffee tables in the lounge make for easy conversation and a smooth transition into a nightclub. An extensive bar features a wide range of wines and saketinis (martinis made with sake). Chicken, beef and seafood entrées may include citrus chicken flavored with pineapple and ginger, Kobe beef, and Chilean sea bass infused with Japanese flavors. Nigiri sushi and makimono rolls are available, many of which are made with non-traditional ingredients such as strawberries and mango. Salads can include a soft-shell crab salad and a spicy tuna salad with ahi, Japanese cucumber, gobo roots and chili citrus soy. Lunch offers dinner items for a reduced price, including dollar sushi specials. The lounge features entertainment nightly, such as live model art, dancers and DJs. Full bar. Serving lunch Mon–Fri, dinner nightly. Closed between meals.
