The constant hum of classical music in the background initially throws off some first-timers at My Brother's Bar. But once you realize how cool it is to eat a burger to Bach, this ultra-casual spot – one of downtown Denver's oldest continuously serving bars – just seems that much groovier. The burgers come with a condiment setup that can't be beat: a plastic bin with compartments for pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard and every other accouterment you could possibly need to make your juicy half-pounder sing. The fence-lined, tree-draped back patio is extra-inviting. Reservations not accepted. Full bar. Serving lunch and dinner Mon–Sat. Closed Sun. Voted Best Bar Burger in 2008 Westword critics poll and tied for Best Burger in the readers poll.
