Artfully designed to resemble an indoor Italian villa, Uptown's Arcodoro & Pomodoro represents the pinnacle of Italian cuisine in Dallas and, more specifically, the rustic and traditional comfort foods of the island of Sardinia. There are two adjacent and distinct dining areas: the more formal Pomodoro, which launched in 1988, and the hip and more casual bar scene of Arcodoro, which joined its sister space under one roof in 2000. Brothers and chefs/owners Efisio and Francesco Farris share menus, with the exception of excellent wood oven-fired pizzas, only available on the Arcodoro side. Specialties of the house include house-made ravioli, osso buco and paella for two. One of the Dallas Morning News's Top 100 Restaurants in 2007. Full bar. Serving lunch Tue–Fri, dinner Tue–Sat. Closed Sun–Mon.
