Pearl of the Orient has been the leader of the pack among Cleveland-area Chinese and Asian Fusion restaurants for years. Voted Best Chinese Restaurant by Cleveland Magazine and Northern Ohio Live, the two locations are operated by sister-brother combo Rose Wong and George Hwang. Both spots offer upscale Americanized Chinese food to a well-dressed clientele. The rather extensive menu of meat, seafood and vegetarian options, including scallion pancakes, pot stickers and Peking duck in three courses, remains assuredly MSG-free.
