Often considered Buffalo's best neighborhood pub, Founding Fathers Pub takes its name to heart. Presidential bric-a-brac of all sorts – from oil paintings and old magazine covers to place mats – adorn nearly every nook and cranny. Owner Michael Driscoll often holds court over trivia contests from the long gleaming wood bar, a regular hangout for politicos and the otherwise culturally aware. The kitchen lacks fryers, but fortunately the grill cranks out some of the best cheeseburgers in the Buffalo area. Grilled ham and cheese and pastrami sandwiches are also recommended, as is the tortellini salad. Serving lunch Sun–Fri, dinner and late-night nightly. Winner for Best Bartender (aka Trivia Dude) in the 2007 Buffalo Spree magazine poll.
