Since its humble beginnings as a bar where Italian-Americans played bocce ball, Bocce Club Pizza has celebrated over a half-century of business as what many would consider to be the Buffalo area's top pizza place. Started by Dino Pacciotti in 1946, Bocce features hand-tossed thin crusts and house-made tomato sauce. Basic toppings include the usual suspects, but specialty pies include a taco pie, a crab pizza and a steak pizza (strips of steak, mozzarella, sautéed peppers and onions, and your choice of white or tomato sauce). In addition to the pizza, Bocce's serves chicken wings, chicken fingers, and hot and cold subs – try the Bocce Bomber with steak, sausage, and fried onions and peppers. Takeout only. No alcohol available. Serving lunch and dinner daily, late-night Fri–Sat.
