THIS RESTAURANT CLOSED JUNE 27, 2009Aujourd'hui at the Four Seasons Hotel in Back Bay is the kind of legendary restaurant diners dream about; the kind of place one's parents went on very special occasions; the place where couples go to get engaged. For most, the exquisite, ornate setting makes for a milestone dining experience to remember forever. The well-seasoned kitchen designs exciting contemporary menus anchored in French technique and tied to Boston through the use of local ingredients. One early summer menu included such choices as roasted cod with shellfish ragout, organic Vermont rack of lamb and juicy pork tenderloin. The Sunday brunch buffet (11 am–2 pm) features raw and sushi bars, carving stations, and decadent breakfast items such as chocolate waffles. Awards include a four-star rating from The Boston Globe. One of Boston magazine's Top 50 restaurants of 2009. Full bar. Jacket required. Serving dinner nightly.
