Venerable Fells Point crab house Obrycki's began its life as a tavern in the pre-Prohibition era. In 1944, it became a full-service restaurant, featuring blue crab as one of its signature entrées, and a legend was born. These days, guests in the rustic brick and wood-paneled dining room can feast on crab prepared in a multitude of ways for nearly every course. Appetizers include two varieties of crab soup, deviled crab balls and crabmeat cocktail. For the main course, diners can choose from crab cakes (regular or a spicy, deep-fried variety), crab imperial, and an Italian cioppino, or fish stew, in which lump crabmeat is the star. Non-crab options include grilled chicken breast, sea scallops and linguine marinara. Top off a crab feast with one of the oversized desserts, including a chocolate pecan pie sundae and house-made éclairs. Serving lunch and dinner daily March–Nov. Closed Dec–Feb. Wireless access available. A location in the Baltimore/Washington Airport, open year-round, introduces travelers to some of the city's best seafood.
