The Upper Crust Bakery is cherished for its delicate pastries and other sweet treats, but this elegant-yet-casual eatery offers a delightful lunch menu as well. Popular sandwiches such as the avocado and turkey provolone are served on freshly baked wheat or sourdough bread, and locals rave about the seasonally available hearty Italian stew with sausage, potatoes and tomatoes. Other soup favorites include cheese soup filled with vegetables or the substantial lentil soup. But home-baked delicacies are the main attraction for locals with a serious sweet tooth, from decadent cinnamon rolls to fresh kiwi and strawberry Danishes to rich chocolate cheesecake marble cupcakes.
