The logo of 5 Seasons Brewing, a red number 5 on a golden, frothy mug of beer, borrows stylistically from Superman's renowned symbol. Perhaps co-owners Dennis Lange and David Larkworthy should be considered the supermen of brewing in North Atlanta. 5 Seasons draws a loyal crowd with its uniquely upscale and eclectic organic dishes – higher in quality and more diverse than your average pub fare – that are locally influenced and change seasonally to complement the locally famed brews. Copper beer kettles are visible from the main bar, and a cellar bar offers two pool tables and a smoking section. Try the signature Seven Sisters Münchner with its rich, malty finish, or the Velvet Heaven Oatmeal Stout. Starters include grilled rice balls or braised bratwurst. Lunch features sandwiches like the house-smoked organic pork sandwich or the spicy seafood burger. For dinner, try the grilled pizzas or organic salmon sticky rice. 5 Seasons has been featured in The New York Times and Southern Living and was named Best Local Brew in the 2007 Creative Loafing critics poll. Voted Best Brewpub in 2007 Atlanta magazine critics poll. Reservations suggested. Serving lunch and dinner daily. Bar is open late-night. Two locations, with a third opening in 2008.
